FOUNDATION ANNOUNCEMENTS

OceanFirst Foundation has awarded $267,000 in grants to twenty-three
local organizations through the 2011-2012 Arts and Cultural Grant
program. Grants range from $1,500 to $30,000 and will provide general
operating support at a critical time when many arts and cultural
organizations face serious economic challenges and struggle to maintain

Home Runs for Heroes is a one-of-a-kind partnership between OceanFirst
Foundation, the Lakewood BlueClaws  and WOBM that helps to raise vital
funds for local charities that serve veterans, our military heroes and
their families in times of need. Each time a home run is hit at First
Energy Park by the Lakewood BlueClaws, a $1,000 donation is earned by
one of nine hometown charities. Now that the 2011 Baseball season has
come to a close OceanFirst has tallied up the home runs and announced
